Empire National Bank promotes five employees

According to chairman and CEO Douglas Manditch, Empire National Bank had promoted five employees.
Veteran banking executive Susanne Pheffer has been named the bank's chief technology officer/senior vice president.
"With more than 25 years of industry experience and expertise in community banking and the technology sector, Susanne is a welcome addition to our management team," said Manditch.
"I look forward to working with Empire National's talented team of men and women in my new role at the bank," said Pheffer.
Pheffer started her career at State Bank of Long Island. Her positions there included finance manager, assistant vice president/MIS, vice president/acting controller and senior vice president/chief information officer. For the last seven years she served as director of operations at Kenneth J. Soles & Associates, a consulting company serving the financial industry. She earned a BA in Computer Science and Corporate Finance and an MS degree in Corporate Finance from Adelphi University.
Christine Mustapich has joined Empire National Bank as E-Banking assistant manager.
"With many of our customers are now using electronic banking, Christine's background makes her a welcome addition to our staff," said Manditch.
An experienced banking professional, Mustapich held the title of assistant manager ATM/security at the Bank of Smithtown. Prior to joining Empire National, she served as assistant treasurer of the E-Banking Department of Community National Bank.
Staff accountant/AVP Miranda D'Angelis has been promoted to assistant controller. "Since Miranda joined the bank three years ago, she has been an integral part of our finance department. Her promotion reflects her stance as valued member of our team," said Manditch.
With twenty years of banking experience, D'Angelis started her career at Home Federal Saving Bank. She also held several positions at Long Island Commercial Bank. Prior to joining Empire National, she held the title of assistant vice president/finance at Hamptons State Bank.She received an associate in Applied Science Degree in Accounting from Briarcliffe College.
Richard Corrado has joined Empire National Bank's commercial lending department as senior credit analyst/vice president.
"Richard's experience as a bank credit officer will serve him well in his new role at Empire National," said Manditch. Prior to joining Empire National, Corrado was a vice president and credit officer for Citi Business Banking in Long Island City.
He holds a BA in economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Corrado received a JD degree from Touro Law Center and is licensed to practice law in New York and New Jersey.
Patricia Modena has joined the bank as a commercial loan officer/vice president.
"Patricia brings a wealth of business and commercial real estate experience to the bank. Both our staff and customers will benefit from her industry expertise," said Manditch.
Before joining Empire National Bank, Modena was a senior relationship manager at M&T Bank.
