What was the best thing that happened to you or your firm in 2014? MECC hired 2 new research analysts to assist with our growing phase one business. In addition, our Florida office increased sales by 30 % demonstrating the continuing rebound of commercial real estate in that market. What was your most notable project, deal, transaction or personal achievement in 2014? MECC was involved with a former gas station that was purchased by our client who then leased the site to a national franchise. The MECC team worked with the tenant's environmental consultant on how to deal with the impacted soil and groundwater. The efforts of both consultants resulted in a strategy that was favorable to all parties. The new tenant is scheduled to open for business in the first quarter of 2015 What are you looking forward to accomplishing in 2015? Expanding the MECC brand along the East Coast and creating more internal efficiencies to expedite our delivery of reports to clients. What are some of your real estate predictions for 2015? Commercial real estate continues to be a good investment. This will present opportunities for quality environmental firms to demonstrate their expertise.
