What was the best thing that happened to you or your firm in 2014? We moved to a new location and upgraded our data base software, hardware technology and lines of communication to meet the demands of our clients. As a result our brokers and staff are more mobile, fluid and has more capabilities. This investment reinforces that we are known for our technology. Other competing brokerage firms rely on our statistical reports as well as transactional attorneys, accountants, consultants, appraisers, engineers, surveyors, bankers and clients , which are produced by our advanced technology. What was your most notable project, deal, transaction or personal achievement in 2014? Being the new CEO for Greiner-Maltz LI is a privilege and honor. To lead such a great organization is very exciting and challenging. It is something that I have always wanted and groomed myself to do. The challenge will be to find a balance of maintaining the service and integrity that Greiner-Maltz is known for and balancing the growth of the company to meet the needs of the new economy and the new captains of industry. We have immediately implemented systems and procedures for our staff and executives. These are best practices for the highest performing businesses inth country. This implementation has already attracted a larger customer base and increased revenue which we reinvested into upgrading our technology. What are you looking forward to accomplishing in 2015? Using my leadership position of CEO at Greiner-Maltz LI I want to continue to improve what we started in 2014 and that is to build an integrated organization. This will provide our clients a unique experience, unique package and unique advantage. For our executives and staff it will provide unique team work, unique leadership and unique capability. My vision will be to make sure Greiner-Maltz is in alignment with ensuring the highest quality unique experience for our clients and customers. The advantages will be Greiner-Maltz will always innovate and will motivate us for future growth. As a result everyone at GM is valuable to GM and our clients. In addition, they bring their best capabilities, efforts and contributions. What are some of your real estate predictions for 2015? 2015 will be more of the same with respect to Industrial inventory being tight for quality industrial facilitates. So good hi ceiling buildings with easy access to the LIE will continue to be a premium. Banks are eager and able to lend, which is giving clients with good business confidence to buy.
