What was the best thing that happened to you or your firm in 2014?
One of my proudest achievements this year, as a founding partner is a women and minority owned MEP engineering firm, is to receive an award for being a "Pioneering Woman in Real Estate".
What was your most notable project, deal, transaction or personal achievement in 2014?
The Queensway project, the plan to turn an elevated train track in queens into a park, similar to the very successful highline park in Manhattan, is one of our favorite projects. As MEP consultants, we were part of the team that did the feasibility study, focusing on sustaining power and storm water solutions. We are looking forward to seeing this project's progress.
What are you looking forward to accomplishing in 2015?
We are expanding our services and adding architectural design. We are bringing on a new partner who will be our lead architect.
What are some of your real estate predictions for 2015?
We see a lot of construction happening in the outer boroughs, especially up in the Bronx as well as a lot of activity in Harlem and upper Manhattan. We see that trend continuing as prices continue to rise elsewhere in the city.
