Bradley of REMCO named chief marketing officer

REMCO executive Michael Bradley will become the company's first chief marketing officer, effective January 1, 2015. In this role, Bradley will handle everything from sales management and service development to marketing, research and communications. "Michael is a proven leader and an integral part of our executive team. His skillset and knowledge of the business along with his strong marketing background made me realize he was a clear fit for this new role I had contemplated creating for quite some time," said REMCO CEO Kenneth Martin. "After 11 years with REMCO, Michael is a part of the family. He is well-respected by the staff, and everyone is excited to see him flourish in this creative role." Bradley has been with Long Island City-based REMCO for more than 11 years, starting in 2002 as an account executive. He was promoted to COO in 2013, and has been an integral member of the management team, handling all aspects of operations for a staff of more than 200 employees. Bradley's impressive client portfolio includes the historic building restoration of Essex County Courthouse, Fidelity Philadelphia Trust Co. (National Register of Historic Places), Fidelity Property in Philadelphia and Newark City Hall. In 2007, his team won the Newark City Hall Historic Preservation Award. Additionally, his notable current project include a façade restoration at 10 East 53rd Street, a 390,000-square-foot Midtown office building. A New Jersey native, Bradley received corporate training from American Management Association in New York, where he received certificates in fundamental selling skills, principals of professional selling and customer service excellence. He began his career at Sherman Williams Paints in New York, working his way up over the course of 13 years from assistant store manager to marketing manager. He spent two years at Finnaren and Haley Paints in New Jersey as a sales manager before joining REMCO.
