Rose promotes Gelberg and Motley to senior managing director positions

According to Rose Associates, the New York-based full-service real estate firm, two of the firms veteran managing directors have been promoted to senior managing director positions. Each executive will lead specific portfolios within the firm's growing property management division.
Mitchell Gelberg, who has been with Rose for 20 years, has been named senior managing director, multi-family portfolio. Gelberg will oversee operations for Rose's rental portfolio, including property management and leasing.
Mark Motley, a Rose officer for 10 years, has been named senior managing director, owner-occupied and institutional portfolio. Motley will focus his efforts on cooperatives, condos and cond-ops.
He will also oversee management of residential buildings owned by Rose's medical and educational clients.
"Mitch and Mark have helped lead Rose's property management division for many years, maintaining the satisfaction of our clients and helping to foster the growth of our company," said J. Brian Peters, chief operating officer of Rose. "Property management has long been a cornerstone of our company, and I am pleased that this important services division will continue to grow under the direction of these two officers."
Rose currently manages 26,000 apartments throughout New York City. The portfolio is comprised of approximately 125 cooperative, condominium and rental properties. The split between owner-occupied and rental units is nearly even, with slightly more than half of all Rose-managed apartments being rentals.
