Over the past few years, Manhattan establishments have been looking to expand into the Brooklyn market. Retailers such as J. We are also seeing retailers adjust to the Brooklyn market by adjusting the footprints of the stores. National and local retailers will continue to open locations throughout Brooklyn due to the affordable retail rents, compared to Manhattan, and the favorable demographics.
