Peppers appointed an estimator at Racanelli Construction Co.

Racanelli Construction Company, Inc. has appointed Daniel Peppers as estimator. Peppers brings to his new role at Racanelli Construction 15 years of senior-level experience across all facets of construction, from ground-up estimating, scheduling/pre-construction, bid/proposal development and operations and maintenance, to project management, crew training and supervision, quality assurance and value engineering. He is experienced in diverse projects including historic restorations and has broad technical skills including: construction site/ground-up façade inspections, Local Law 11 inspections, blueprint reading/development, methane reclamation and monitoring, soil compaction and concrete testing. Prior to joining Racanelli he was senior estimator/senior project manager/senior project executive with MDA Contracting/Ryder Construction. It was there that he performed detailed ground-up and interior take-offs of all building trades including, but not limited to high end finishes, MEPs, structural steel and concrete. In addition he performed budget cost analysis for architects and engineers on ground-up and high end renovation construction for high-rise commercial, retail and condominium projects. Among Peppers' other positions were that as: the chief estimator/project executive with CIC Construction Services, as chief estimator/project manager with S. DiGiacomo & Sons, Inc. and as director of operations & maintenance/senior estimator with Tyree Environmental Organization. Peppers is a NYS Certified Home and Residential Building Inspector, NYS Class C Energy Auditor, NYS Certified Scaffold Rigger and Operator, NYS Certified "Blue Line" Fuel Systems Pipe Installer/Inspector and State of Arizona Certified "Carrier" Installer. Additionally, he is a member of the National Association of Home Inspectors and holds a Class A Tractor Trailer License. Peppers' higher education includes his coursework in Civil Engineering at the Polytechnic University and coursework in Civil Engineering at the State University of New York at Farmingdale. He is skilled in various construction related computer programs including Microsoft Project, Sure-Trac, Primavera Expedition and Timberline.
