According to Michael Finn, managing partner of CB Richard Ellis/Syracuse, the office completed two sales totaling $1.131 million and three leases total 69.147 s/f.
Bill Anninos and Finn of CBRE represented the landlord for The Bank of New York's long-term lease extension of 60,947 s/f of space at Deys Centennial Plaza, 401 South Salina St. Pyramid Brokerage Company represented the tenant.
Donald French of CBRE brokered the $831,435 sale of nine acres at 5701 East Taft Rd. Furniture Row bought the property and plans to construct a 54,000 s/f retail center that features five separate home furnishings related stores, including Oak Express and Bedroom Expressions. This will be the only complete Furniture Row Shopping Center in the area, though the company operates 330 stores across 31 states. Al Giannino, of The Pioneer Companies, co-brokered the sale.
Mark Rupprecht and Bart Feinberg of CBRE brokered the $300,000 sale of 700 Erie Blvd. The 18,830 s/f commercial building is partially occupied by AP Wagner, an appliance parts and accessories distributor. The buyer, 21 Willey St., Inc., will occupy the remaining space.
French also brokered the long-term lease of the 4,200 s/f office building at 2112 Erie Blvd. The new tenant, The Consortium for Children's Services, provides home- and center-based services to families of at-risk children, including empowering families and children to be self-sufficient, productive and healthy. The organization relocated from its Hanover Sq. location in favor of on-site parking and bus access. Pyramid Brokerage represented the tenant.
Feinberg and Larry Van Der Bogart of CBRE brokered the lease of the former City Works restaurant at 1308 North Salina St. in the north side corridor from Little Italy to Destiny USA. Mohammed Khan is leasing the 4,000 s/f building and plans to open an eatery, specializing in international foods.
