JCS Capital and Granoff R.E. purchase Station Plaza; Plans to developement mixed-use / restaurant space

A partnership between JCS Capital LLC, a Stamford-based real estate investment company and Granoff Real Estate LLC, a Greenwich-based real estate investment company, has purchased the Station Plaza Office Building located at 2 Second St. for an undisclosed amount. "We are pleased to have the opportunity to develop a modern, innovative building to foster a greater sense of community and collaboration within the city of Rye," said Justin Shaw, principal, JCS Capital LLC. The newly approved plans call for adaptive reuses of the current industrial/office building to be transformed into a 17,500 s/f mixed-use building with 3,500 s/f of restaurant space and 12 apartments with a common roof deck. Affiliates Granoff Architects, a Greenwich-based architecture firm, and JCS Construction Group, Inc., a Stamford-based general contractor, will manage the design and construction of the project. Construction is slated to begin in early 2015 and completed in last quarter of 2015.
