Name: Sarajane Belkadi Title: Comptroller Company Name: Trion Real Estate Management Years in Commercial Real Estate: 25 In the last 12 months, which project, transaction, honor or accomplishment are you most proud of and why? As the comptroller of Trion Real Estate Management I deal with a lot of different things on a daily basis. What I feel most proud of is the relationship that we have created with all the owners and boards we manage. I am their direct contact and I truly feel a sense of accomplishment when they are thankful for our service. I have been told by a board president who owns her own management company "if she knew 10 people like me her life would be much easier." Those words make me very proud of my work ethic and an honor to be the comptroller of Trion Management. What were your biggest fears when you started out in your profession? Since I work in the accounting field my biggest fear was "what if I was not perfect." As the comptroller, the numbers must always add up and that small fear has always helped me to be accurate. What was your first job and what did you learn from it? My First job was working for my father who was president of a company in Ridgefield CT. He put me in every department that needed help and never told them I was his daughter so I did not get special treatment. I received a lot of experience in a short time and was able to go out into the real world and work in the accounting field. What is your favorite quote? Don't cut off your nose to spite your face.
