Academy for Continuing Education heralds recent seminars as success

April 18, 2008 - Brokerage
Calling its recently-concluded series of continuing education classes an "unmitigated" success, The Academy for Continuing Education, one of New York City's leading real estate programs, attributed the strong results to solid curriculum and innovative programming. "News, Views & Current Real Estate Trends" attracted more than 125 real estate professionals from around the city during its three day run-February 20, 22 and 27-at Manhattan's New York Athletic Club. The Department of State-approved seminar provided brokers and sales persons the 22.5 hours of continuing education credit needed for recertification. Esther Muller, the co-founder and master teacher at The Academy for Continuing Education,  noted that the Academy's "Developers Panel" was a winner. "Our students enjoyed a lively interchange among Kent Swig, Richard Mack and Jeffrey Levine," said Muller, referring to the heads of, respectively, Swig Equities, Apollo Real Estate Advisors, and Levine Builders. "Faith Hope Consolo of Prudential Douglas Elliman did an excellent job moderating the panel." Guest speakers from Corcoran Sunshine Marketing, Coldwell Banker Hunt Kennedy, Prudential Douglas Elliman and Massay Knakal  Realty Services participated in solo presentations ranging from "The National Association of Realtors Code of Ethics," "Fair Housing & Human Rights," "The Purchasing Process," "The Finance of Real Estate Investment," "The Mortgage Process," and "Overcoming Challenges in Buying or Selling an Apartment." In addition, real estate reporters from The New York Daily News and The New York Sun spoke about the media and their views on important issues facing New York City's real estate market. The next round of "News, Views & Current Real Estate Trends" is set for September 10, 17 and 24. For more information and to register, visit www.RealEstateAcademy.com.
