New York University: MS Real Estate First job outside of real estate: Newspaper delivery and collecting. I was pretty good at the delivery part, which generally involved throwing the papers. First job in real estate or allied field: My first job in the real estate field was as a property manager for a 300-unit garden apartment community. What do you do now and what are you planning for the future? I am the chief credit officer and head of the Affordable Housing Credit Group for Hunt Mortgage Group. In addition to executing on our current pipeline of business, we are busy updating our infrastructure to allow our teams to be able to significantly increase their production, while maintaining an appropriate risk profile. How do you unwind from a busy day in real estate? My wife and I have two little children. I try to spend time with them each day before we get them to sleep. I love being a dad. I also enjoy playing my guitar. It's actually more making noises with a guitar but I find it relaxing. Favorite book or author: "A Walk in the Woods" Bill Bryson Favorite movie: Rush. Last song you downloaded? Downloaded? Sorry... I am still spinning vinyl. One word to describe your work environment: Intense Rules to live by in business: Be passionate about your work and subject matter but don't lose your sense of self or compassion in the process. Anybody can become an "expert," true leaders use their knowledge and experience to inspire others around them. If you could invite one person to dinner (living or dead) who would it be and where would you go? Carl Sagan. I have read his books on the Galaxy, but I still have questions. We would have to go for Mexican food. Carl Sagan and a Burrito? C'mon... What is your dream job? Archeologist. I am absolutely fascinated by human history and prehistory.
