I have always looked forward to the delivery of the paper because it enlightens me on recent transactions that have occurred locally. I also enjoy the articles as they always feed me new information on various topics relating to commercial real estate. I am happy to receive the paper and thirsty for the knowledge of the deals that have transpired. I like to check price per square foot, cap rates and comparables to keep me sharp of my knowledge of the New York real estate market. Q: The approximate year you discovered the NYREJ and what business you were in at the time: A: I remember reading the paper in the 90's - and it has been a staple in real estate offices since. Q: Your most memorable "15 minutes of fame" in the NYREJ: A: My most memorable "15 minutes of fame" came in April 2008 when I was selected as the Executive of the Month. I was featured both professionally and personally - it made me feel really great. I asked John Picard for as many copies of the paper as possible and I still have them today.
