August 11, 2014 - Long Island
Executives from Empire National Bank (ENB) attended the recent Wall of Wars Dedication at Northport VA Medical Center. Hundreds of people were in attendance, including all members of the Long Island delegation of the United States House of Representatives, local elected officials, veterans and community leaders. Twelve granite tributes from the American Revolution to the War on Terror honoring the brave soldiers of the United States Military are now there on permanent display. The monument is a gift from the Suffolk County Vietnam Veterans of America, the Disabled American Veterans and their community partners.
"It has been our privilege to be associated with this project since its inception. To see it come to fruition is very rewarding. We are honored to have Empire National Bank show its support for this memorial by sponsoring the Indian Wars monument," said ENB's chairman and CEO Douglas Manditch.
