JLL has hired Amanda Bokman as a managing director. She will be responsible for new business development and tenant representation services in the New York metropolitan area. Bokman will work closely with Robert Martin, vice chairman.
Bokman has eight years of experience in New York metropolitan-area commercial real estate leasing, following five years in commercial real estate acquisitions earlier in her career. She specializes in the apparel and retail industries, an expertise developed from personal experience in the sectors, and recently expanded her consultative work to data center users.
Bokman also represents companies in the pharmaceutical, financial services and publishing industries. She has completed more than 4 million square feet in transactions over the course of her career.
"Amanda's depth of experience as a former CFO and a successful player in the commercial real estate leasing and acquisition arena has provided her with a unique skill set to assist clients in structuring and executing creative and complex financial transactions," said Martin. "She has an insider's knowledge of Manhattan's retail and apparel sectors that will prove crucial in further expanding JLL's growth in New York."
Prior to joining JLL, Bokman was a senior vice president with a major brokerage firm in New York, focusing on large acquisition and disposition assignments involving office and industrial properties.
