IFMA/GNY holds Family Feud game show night - Feb. 24

April 4, 2008 - Owners Developers & Managers
Thanks to the efforts of Harry Cannon, the first ever IFMA/GNY Family Feud game show night took place on February 24 at the Rockefeller University. A perfect choice for role of emcee/moderator was John Lawrence, of Pure Water Tech Metro N.Y. Many of the attendees remarked that Lawrence should consider becoming an emcee on a professional level! The facilities team consisted of Christian Miller of YMCA, Bob Cottrell of Facilities Management Partners, Joy Palevsky of Allsteel, Thomas Arezzi of AHRC, and Annette Vega & Anthony Guerrero of Oxygen Media. The associates team consisted of Gary Anzalone of Precision Sign, Ivan Mann of Corporate Essentials Coffee Service, Wendy Pflaum of Benhar Office Interiors, Nadine Cino of Tyga Box, Mark Wasserman of Millennium, and Michelle McCambridge of International Mechanical. The answers to the questions that were asked were the results of a survey performed at previous IFMA/GNY events. It was a closely contested battle, fraught with suspense. If it were not for the constant trips to the fabulous buffet table (food provided by Neuman's Catering), the game would have been decided a bit earlier. The game started with the associates domineering over the FMs with a wide point margin. In the end though, the FMs pulled out a victory, winning the match on the very last questions asked. Each FM team member walked away with a complimentary "Family Feud" home game, while the associates were awarded a bottle of "Turtle Wax!" All in all, the evening was deemed a success, and fun was had by all. Photographs by Steve Salowe of Cushman & Wakefield, IFMA/GNY public relations committee member.
