According to Kenneth Horn, president of Alchemy Properties Inc., and Stuart Rubinfeld, president of Matel Realty LLC., their new-construction residential condominium building in Brooklyn, Lookout Hill Condominium, at 199 State St. is now 100% sold.
Named after a key battleground in Brooklyn during the Revolutionary War and located on the cusp of Brooklyn Heights and Boerum Hill, Lookout Hill Condominium is a full-service, 11-story building that boasts Manhattan-style finishes. The family-friendly building consists of 46 studio, one, two, and three-bedroom residences ranging in size from 677 to 1,653 s/f. Penthouses and several other residences have private outdoor spaces.
The Lookout Hill Condominium features a Columbia University Landscape Design Program award-winning custom-designed 2,000 s/f backyard garden. The winning design, which was chosen by a panel of judges that included three Columbia professors, features three sunken gardens filled with hydrandea, echinacea and Japanese ferns with wooden walking bridges, as well as 10 ginkgo trees highlighted by in-ground accent lights. Several benches are placed throughout the garden for residents to relax and enjoy the space.
"We designed Lookout Hill Condominium to be a luxury building while maintaining the traditional feel of the neighborhood," said Horn. "We're extremely pleased at how fast the residences have sold out."
