Katz and Pershin of GFI sell 21 East 115th Street for $3 million

GFI Realty Services, Inc., one of the leading New York-based commercial real estate services firms, arranged the sale of 21 East 115th St., a vacant five-story, walk-up apartment building consisting of 10 units. The property is located in the East Harlem section of the borough and traded for $3 million or $300,000 a unit.
Yosef Katz, senior director of GFI and Yisroel Pershin also of GFI represented the seller. Katz also represented the buyer in this transaction. Both the buyer and seller are local investors.
"The buyer intends to gut renovate the entire building and rent out the units at market rate," said Katz.
The 9,565 s/f building was constructed in 1930 and is located two blocks from the 116th St. subway stations which services the 2, 3 and 6 lines. It is also within blocks of Central Park and Marcus Garvey Park.
