Upstate New York
Pyramid Brokerage Company, a Cushman & Wakefield Alliance member, has merged with Cervone/Scandanavian Real Estate Advisors. Christian Johannessen and Alexander Cervone, owners and brokers, David Park, broker, and Jeanne Labarge, licensed sales associate will all be joining Pyramid as sales agents. This merger represents the second one for Pyramid in the Hudson Valley in the last four months. The new office is located at 4 Jefferson Plaza, and will operate as a satellite office of the main Hudson Valley office located at 82 Broadway, Kingston. On December 28, Upstate Commercial Group became Pyramid's Hudson Valley office.
Steve Perfit, managing director of Pyramid, said, "We see a tremendous opportunity for us in the Hudson Valley. The market between N.Y.C. and Albany is a growing market as N.Y.C. companies search for more availability and lower cost space with good access to the city. This demand, along with the Hudson Valley being such a fragmented, under-served commercial real estate market, is why Pyramid Brokerage decided to have a presence in this market. Our interest was also driven by our client base across the rest of upstate N.Y. that wanted our service and expertise in the Hudson Valley. The Cushman & Wakefield client base also wanted our expertise and knowledge in the market between N.Y.C. and Albany."
