New York City's retail market is buzzing with anticipation over the 18 nominations the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY) has received for the coveted Retail Deal of the Year Awards. The winners of the awards, which annually recognize the most creative and significant New York City retail deals, will be announced at the Retail Committee's Deal of the Year Cocktail Party on Tuesday, June 10 at the 101 Club.
REBNY will recognize two winners for top deals completed in 2013: the Most Ingenious Retail Deal of the Year that demonstrates exceptional broker acumen (ingenuity & creativity), and the Most Significant Retail Deal of the Year that recognizes the most significant retail deal in its overall characteristics and importance to the New York City retail market.
"Navigating the retail market and negotiating knock-out deals that shape the city's landscape requires a tremendous amount of ingenuity and dedication," said Peter Braus, managing principal for Lee & Associates NYC and chair of REBNY's retail committee. "We congratulate all of our nominees on their incredible accomplishments and look forward to honoring our winners at the Retail Deal of the Year Awards in June."
