Financial analysis tools and skills are vital for all business professionals who deal with commercial real estate on a regular basis. CCIM Institute's Ward Center for Real Estate Studies will present "Financial Analysis Tools for Commercial Real Estate," on June 2, beginning at 8:30 a.m., at the start of NYSCAR's Annual Conference, being held this year at the Turning Stone Resort. The one-day course has been designed to reach a broad audience of industry professionals, including commercial brokers, residential agents, and allied professionals who work in real estate, such as lawyers, lenders, and CPAs; institutional-level real estate professionals; and graduates of university real estate programs. For more information about the course and to register, go to: http://www.ccim.com/education/course/FACRE/FACRE029 After completing this course, "Students will be able to apply the CCIM Cash Flow Model to compare yields of three major asset classes (stocks, bonds, and income producing real estate) using a new Excel spreadsheet," said Edward Gallacher, CCIM Chapter president. "Participants will also be able to compare and contrast measures of leverage and their correlation with risk." Teaching the one-day workshop will be veteran instructor Jeremy Cyrier, CCIM, president and owner of MANSARD Commercial Properties, a commercial brokerage company in Lexington, Massachusetts.
