On March 11th, project team members from Equity Residential, Ryder Construction, Handel Architects, Desimone Consultants and ADS joined construction workers to celebrate the topping out of 170 Amsterdam Ave. Developed by Equity Residential, the new residential rental tower, located between 67th and 68th Sts., is now topped out at 20 floors on the Upper West Side.
170 Amsterdam Ave.'s innovative design, featuring a concrete exoskeleton, was created by Handel Architects. Completion of the development is expected in 2015.
