The Treeline Companies promotes Schor to COO

The Treeline Companies, a value-add asset developer, owner and investor throughout the New York metropolitan region, has promoted Howard Schor to chief operating officer. The announcement was made by The Treeline Companies' board of directors.
In his new position, Schor will run four key departments at Treeline - asset management, construction, IT, and marketing - and will also oversee day-to-day operations at the firm.
including the management of Treeline's portfolio of office buildings comprising 2.5 million s/f. Treeline's properties are located primarily in New York City and Long Island's Nassau County.
"My new position affords me the opportunity to call into play a multitude of skills - such as construction, management or finance, sometimes all at once," said Schor. "The real estate business offers such a sense of discovery, as it's constantly evolving. I'm proud to be able to work with Treeline as it expands its reach to new heights throughout the five boroughs."
Schor's promotion is part of the ongoing transformation of The Treeline Companies as the firm embraces new ways of doing business more efficiently through employment of new technologies and strategies to improve operating efficiencies for tenants and enhance value for current and future investors.

Schor was previously the executive vice president of strategic operations and planning at The Treeline Companies. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in marketing from Hofstra University, and a master's in business administration in finance and management from the New York University Stern School of Business. Schor is also president of the Friends of Israel Defense Forces New York Young Leadership board.
