Pikarski brings medical equipment planning to Shen's Chicago office

Teriann Pikarski of Shen Milsom & Wilke, LLC has expanded medical equipment planning capabilities to the Chicago office. Pikarski is an accomplished professional with 24 years of experience in equipment planning and procurement management. Her background includes hospitals, medical centers and teaching facilities all over the country. She has managed a diverse range of projects for public and private hospitals including outpatient clinics, surgery centers, hospital expansion projects, and total replacement. Her responsibilities have included budget development, management and tracking of all new hospital construction and renovation projects. Projects range from $100,000 to $95 million. Pikarski's experience includes work at the University of Chicago Hospitals and Northwestern Memorial Hospital. She has experience in strategic planning, multi-year replacement plans, and yearly capital budget processes, as well as developing RFP's, purchase requisitions, and vendor negotiations. Pikarski is an associate member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, member of the American Society of Health Care Materials Management and the Chicago Healthcare Executives Forum. She is a graduate of the Master of Business Administration Program at Loyola University, Chicago, and holds a bachelor of science in Criminal Law from Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona.
