According to Farrell Fritz, P.C., Kelly Canavan and Brian Doyle have joined the firm's Bridgehampton office as counsel. Canavan has joined the real estate department, and Doyle has joined the commercial litigation department. For ten years prior to joining Farrell Fritz, Canavan maintained a private practice in Sag Harbor. She has concentrated on real estate matters, civil and personal injury litigation. Prior to starting her legal career, she was a licensed real estate salesperson and a mortgage banker. In 1991, Canavan earned her juris doctor degree from Hofstra University School of Law. She received her B.A. in 1985 from Fordham University, where she majored in Political Science and minored in Art History. Prior to joining Farrell Fritz, Doyle was an associate at O'Shea, Marcincuk & Bruyn, L.L.P. (Southampton, N.Y.), where he handled residential and commercial real estate transactions, landlord tenant litigation, general civil and criminal litigation. From 2002-2004, he practiced with Caleca & Towner, P.C. (East Hampton, NY), focusing his practice in litigation. Upon graduation from law school, Doyle served as an assistant district attorney at the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office. Doyle earned his juris doctor degree from Wake Forest University School of Law in 2001 and his B.A. in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1997.
