Harry Seherr-Thoss has joined Transwestern's N.Y. office as principal - tenant and landlord advisory services. Active in commercial real estate for 30 years, Seherr-Thoss will drive new business opportunities in the Northeast region while focusing on agency leasing and tenant advisory services. "Harry has been very active with trophy Midtown buildings throughout his career," said Patrick Robinson, Transwestern's Northeast president. "We are thrilled to welcome someone with his experience and team-oriented attitude to our firm's growing New York office." Seherr-Thoss' track record includes negotiating the relocation of more than 40 international corporations, financial institutions and law firms in the city. He has handled multiple lease transactions totaling millions of square feet in the New York area and has directed the successful repositioning of numerous prominent Class A buildings in Manhattan, including the Olympic Tower at 645 Fifth Ave. As a principal in Transwestern's New York office, Seherr-Thoss will retain the exclusive leasing assignment for Olympic Tower and serve as leader for Transwestern's leasing team, which includes Robinson, Debra Larsen and Lauren Davidson. Seherr-Thoss has also led agency assignments for other trophy New York office towers including the International Plaza at 750 Lexington Ave., Tower 49 at 12 East 49 St., 650 Madison Ave. and 712 Fifth Ave. Seherr-Thoss holds an MBA in Finance from Columbia Graduate School of Business, and he received his bachelor's degree in History from Syracuse University. In addition, he served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
