Middleton joins board of Brookhaven Industrial Development Agency

According to Brookhaven town supervisor Edward Romaine and Brookhaven Industrial Development Agency (IDA) chairman Frederick Braun III, Scott Middleton has been appointed to the Brookhaven IDA.
Middleton, a former trustee, village justice, and mayor of the village of Lake Grove and currently the village attorney, replaced Ronald LaVita on the IDA board.
"Scott Middleton brings a wealth of experience in public policy matters to the board of the Brookhaven IDA," Romaine said. "I am sure he will make a fine addition to this important agency as it continues its efforts to strengthen the town's economy."

A partner in the Ronkonkoma law firm Campolo, Middleton & McCormick LLP, Middleton has represented individual, small and large corporations and municipalities in personal injury matters for nearly 25 years. He also has been a lecturer on administrative law in the Masters in Public Policy Program at Stony Brook University.
A 1984 graduate of Stony Brook University - he later served as President of the University's Alumni Association, Middleton earned his law degree in 1988 at Brooklyn Law School.
