Furey joins Cronin & Cronin Law Firm

According to Cronin & Cronin Law Firm, PLLC founder Brad Cronin, leading litigation attorney Raymond Furey has joined the firm. Furey brings over 30 years of experience to Cronin & Cronin's established and expanding practice. In his new position, Furey will incorporate his trial skills into the "tax certiorari" field in the metropolitan area, as well as upstate New York. Furey was recently re-certified by the National Board of Trial Advocacy, an organization that recognized his achievement of board certification in the field of civil trial advocacy for a continuous period of 20 years. Before joining Cronin & Cronin, Furey was the founder and senior partner of Furey, Kerley, Walsh, Matera & Cinquemani, P.C. and, prior to this, was a partner with Furey & Furey from 1975 to 1988 (which grew during his tenure to be ranked as the second largest law firm on Long Island at that time). Furey has served as a member of the board of directors of the Nassau County Bar Association; chairman and board member of the Nassau Suffolk Trial Lawyers Association; and VP of the torts, insurance and practice committee of the American Bar Association. He also served as a member of the 10th Judicial Department Grievance Committee overseeing ethical violations for attorneys practicing in Nassau and Suffolk counties and was designated a Diplomate of the American Board of Professional Liability Attorneys. Furey has been featured in Best Lawyers in America and Super Lawyers, consecutively from 2005 to the present.
