January 27, 2014 - Brokerage
According to Manhattan Skyline Management Corp., Eva Shaw Designs has opened up a new store at 107 Sullivan St. Eva Shaw Designs is a mother-daughter jewelry design team who decided to open a boutique in one of Manhattan Skyline's SoHo locations based on their previous successful pop-up stores across the area. "Eva Shaw Designs is a great addition to this already vibrant neighborhood," said Joshua Roth, vice president of retail leasing at Manhattan Skyline. "We are sure that they will thrive in this extremely popular shopping destination." The five-year lease for Eva Shaw Designs is for a 425 s/f retail space with 10-ft. ceilings and 10 ft. of frontage on Sullivan St. between Spring and Prince Sts. Formerly a bar, the space was transformed into a shop. "Our goal was to preserve the charm of the original space and add a touch of modern flare," said Eva Shaw. "We kept the crown molding and part of the black and white checkered floor, which we felt was special. We're very excited to be here in SoHo!" At Eva Shaw Designs, Elizabeth and Eva Shaw create thoughtfully handcrafted jewelry, all made in N.Y.C., using semi-precious stones and personally sourcing as many of the gems and materials from the USA as possible. As a socially conscious company, the mother/daughter duo love giving back. A percentage of the sales from many of the collections they offer are donated to various charities. Neighboring tenants include high end handbag and leather goods store Il Bisonte, home accessory store Global Table and iconic restaurants such as Blue Ribbon, Blue Ribbon Sushi, The Dutch and Raoul's. Representing the tenant was broker, Sebastien Lindenmayer of Halstead.
