Hartz Mountain begins leasing first building of Estuary

The first building of Estuary, a waterfront community, has commenced its leasing program according to its developer, Hartz Mountain Industries.
The first phase of Estuary's leasing program will be to accept interest from prospective residents by phone or on-line. Those who inquire earliest will be invited to the opening of the leasing office, at which point apartments will be made available for immediate occupancy.
"This has been a very exciting pre-leasing period, because future residents have been tracking us down through any number of avenues to try and get their names on the waiting list," said Emanuel Stern, president and COO of Hartz Mountain Industries.
"Through our management agent, Roseland, we have already accumulated a list of 400 names. We only have 584 units, so I would expect lease-up to occur on a high velocity basis."
Estuary is within the historic Lincoln Harbor development, which includes a marina, office space, a Sheraton Suites hotel and restaurants including Ruth's Chris Steak House, Chart House, Houlihan's, Masina Trattoria Italiana and a food court. The development is also steps from ferry, bus and light-rail services for those looking for convenience and to reduce vehicle use.
In addition to providing an unobstructed view of the New York City skyline, Estuary boasts the most impressive set of common amenities of any rental development on the waterfront, including, party rooms, screening room, Crayon Corner kids' playroom, golf simulator, health and fitness center, two rooftop swimming pools and spas, and on-site services including a drop off dry cleaner, shoe repair and a Care Plus CVS.
Among the apartment amenities are top of the line kitchen, bathroom and washer-dryer appliances with European style cabinetry, and surround-sound built-in speaker systems. Some units have terraces and balconies.
Following Hartz's standard-setting sustainability program, Estuary was built to LEED-certification standards with materials and construction practices that limited impacts to natural resources and the environment.
