According to Hunt Construction Services, Inc., Cole Hayes has joined the firm as senior managing partner. "We are absolutely delighted and most fortunate to have an individual of Mr. Hayes talent join our firm," said David Hunt, president of the firm. "He brings with him vast knowledge and a wealth of contacts within business and industry. We are very excited."
Hayes has over 30 years experience in planning and development of large scale communities, planned unit developments, and large scale commercial and mixed use projects, providing expertise in comprehensive project management from initial land use studies to final product implementation. He has extensive involvement in commercial and industrial real estate acquisition, development and construction, and all aspects of land use.
Since 1972, Hayes has been the principal planning and Landscape Architectural consultant for Hartz Mountain Industries until the downturn in the economy in 1989/1990. Hayes planned, designed, coordinated engineering and provided construction supervision on over 1,800 acres with over 20 million feet of mixed use projects including office space, commercial, hotels, shopping, industrial, housing and recreation. Hayes has received four national awards for the design and development of Harmon Cove, a 2,500 unit PUD development by Hartz Mountain Industries.
Hayes recently completed design and construction of a new golf course in Riverhead. Due to the location in the Wild and Scenic River corridor, Calverton Links required extensive permitting from NYSDEC, the County and town agencies. All approvals were accomplished in nine months.
Hayes also has extensive experience in all aspects of building and site construction, including residential, multifamily, commercial, industrial, apartment, athletic fiends, parks, golf courses and offers comprehensive construction management.
