The CPEX New York retail leasing team revealed the completion of a lease in the New York Daily News building, located at 575 Degraw Street. Situated between 3rd Avenues in the Gowanus neighborhood, the property is a one-story building featuring 40,000 s/f of commercial space. The incoming tenant, New York Dialysis Services, will occupy 22,000 s/f of space. This marks the tenth medical tenant in the past two years with which the CPEX Retail Leasing Team has executed a lease agreement. CPEX's retail leasing team, consisting of managing director Ryan Condren and associates Kristina Triglia and George Danut, represented the landlord in negotiating the terms of the lease with the new tenant. By bringing in New York Dialysis Services alongside the New York Daily News and popular rock-climbing gym Brooklyn Boulders, CPEX has now filled all the available commercial space at 575 Degraw Street. "With Whole Foods nearing their grand opening and the early success of Dinosaur BBQ, demand for retail in the Gowanus has increased dramatically in the past 12 months," said Condren. "This lease is just another example of the strong demand in this thriving neighborhood."
