IREM to sponsor Emergency Preparedness and Planning event

On Friday, April 25, the Institute for Real Estate Management (IREM) chapter 58 will sponsor an educational event on Emergency Preparedness and Planning. The day-long event will be held at the Monroe County Public Safety Training Facility, located at 1190 Scottsville Rd. The seminar is based on FEMA's course IS-22 Citizen Preparedness training program on emergency planning and safety issues. All attendees will be eligible to secure a certificate of completion from the Emergency Management Institute. The seminar will be facilitated by Scott Hill, CPM (Uniland Development Company and 2001 and 2002 past chapter 58 president), Tim Foster, CPM (Riedman Development Corporation and 2003 and 2004 past chapter 58 president), and Nanette Stubbe, chapter 58's executive IREM administrator. Registration begins at 8 a.m. and the course will run from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a break for lunch. Lunch is included in the event.
