Brian Boland has joined the banking/commercial lending group at Certilman Balin Adler & Hyman, LLP as an associate.
Prior to joining the firm, Boland was an associate for three years at Melville-based CU Settlement, where he represented residential mortgage lenders, prepared and reviewed loan modification files and assisted borrowers with title clearance issues.
While an undergraduate, Boland worked for five months as the assistant to the assistant director for budget at the office of management and budget in the executive office of the President of the United States. During the course of his legal studies, he also completed internships at three different law offices as a summer associate.
He earned his juris doctor from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2010. While at Seton Hall, Boland was a Merit Scholar, a Domestic Violence Courtroom Advocate, events coordinator for the Student Outreach Society, and a member of the Tax Law Society and the Irish American Law Students Association.
He graduated from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 2006 with a bachelor of arts in Political Science. He served as vice president secretary/treasurer of the Pre-Law Student Association and was a member of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity and made the dean's list.
Boland is admitted to practice in the State of New York and is a member of the New York State Bar and New York City Bar Associations.
