Eastern Union appoints Adler SVP

November 12, 2013 - Brokerage
Eastern Union Funding revealed the appointment of senior vice president Jack Adler, former vice president at Meridian Capital. "Eastern Union is thriving thanks to a team of skilled support staff," said the firm's managing partner Abraham Bergman. With years of experience closing for some of the industry's top players, Eastern Union hired Adler to provide the firm's brokers and clients with invaluable resources. "Having people like Jack around is a natural step for our firm as we continue our growth in full force," Bergman said. "We're bringing him in because we trust his instincts and because we're doing what we always do: continuously raising the quality and productivity of our business." Beginning this week, Adler will run underwriting and placement for Eastern's New York office and report to Bergman, who oversees all banking and underwriting for the firm. With more than 600 commercial loans totaling approximately $3.7 billion under his belt, Adler's numbers tell an impressive story. Adler said Eastern Union will be the platform for even greater success. "Eastern Union is a shop that sticks to its roots," he said. "Abe and I spent long time talking about the future of the company, what we have done, what we're capable of doing, and we both agree that I can help take it to the next level." While at Meridian, Adler acted as primary point of contact for one of the senior partner's client base and also managed complete commercial loan processes from preliminary stages through closing. "Some people have the fundamentals of the business drilled into them, Bergman said. "Jack puts things in perspective in terms of what we are capable of doing,"
