Defense Contractor Tactronics Holdings is expanding to a new 23,600 s/f headquarters in the Brookhaven Industrial Park at 10 Pinehurst Dr. Tactronics will take advantage of Brookhaven Town Empire Zone benefits in its move from the firm's former home in Westhampton Beach, Town of Southampton.
Marie Zere, president & CEO of Zere Real Estate Services and Michael Zere, vice president of Zere, exclusively represented Tactronics and worked closely with Ray Donnelly, director of economic development from the Town of Brookhaven and chief executive officer of the Town of Brookhaven IDA and worked directly with Tactronics to pass on tax incentives to Tactronics. Corporate Realty Services represented the property owner in Bellport on this lease deal.
Michael Zere visualized Tactronics on this site from the beginning and knew the landlord was easy to work with, a quality developer and could deliver the building on time to the tenant's satisfaction. The landlord, Robert Affenita of R&R Management said, "We decided to go forward and develop for Tactronics because they are a highly qualified forward thinking technology company with their eye on the future and would be an asset to our tenant portfolio."
The new headquarters will employ over 90 high paying jobs over the next year and a half. Tactronics employs leading-edge technologies and sophisticated disciplines to Military, Government Agencies, Homeland Security and System Integrators markets worldwide. Founded in 1993, Tactronics is privately held and has designed and manufactured integrated systems for U.S. special Operation Forces, the Army, the Navy, NASA and the United Kingdom Special Forces.
