ÂAccording to Anthony Manetta, CEO/executive director of the Suffolk County Industrial Agency (IDA), they will host their 2nd Annual Business Development & Networking Event. Last year's event had a great turnout where hundreds of guests were introduced to the Suffolk County IDA's new branding campaign. This year's event will highlight their success stories over the past year and review their latest initiatives. The keynote speaker will be county executive Steve Bellone. Meet administration officials including deputy county executive and commissioner of economic development Joanne Minieri, labor commissioner Sam Chu, along with elected officials, business leaders and public officials from across the region.

The Suffolk County IDA is a public benefit corporation of New York State. The purpose of the agency is to promote economic development within the county. The operations of the agency are not supported by taxpayer funds, rather fees generated by the applicants.
The Suffolk County IDA works in synergy with Suffolk County executive Bellone and economic development commissioner Joanne Minieri to foster positive economic development within the county.
