Shake Shack to open at Two Trees' One Old Fulton St., DUMBO

August 26, 2013 - Brokerage
Shake Shack, the burger, hot dog and frozen custard stand, plans to open at Two Trees Commercial's One Old Fulton St., DUMBO in mid-2014, according to Thomas Conoscenti, Two Trees' director of commercial leasing. "The addition of Shake Shack to DUMBO further solidifies the area as one of New York's emerging culinary destinations, joining the recently signed Dish at 81 Washington and Atrium at 15 Main St.," said Conoscenti. "Being right across the street from Brooklyn Bridge Park and around the corner from our office tenants, Shake Shack could not have picked a better location." Born Madison Sq. Park in 2004, Shake Shack is a modern day "roadside" burger stand. With its fine dining heritage, Shake Shack is part of Danny Meyer's Union Square Hospitality Group (USHG), which includes many of the city's most celebrated restaurants: Union Square Café, Gramercy Tavern, and The Modern, among others. Two Trees Commercial is a division of Two Trees Management Company, a Brooklyn-based real estate development firm that owns and manages a property portfolio worth more than $3 billion, including more than 6,000 apartments and over three million square feet of office and retail space.
