Zamir and Abudi of GFI Realty sell 10-unit East Harlem apartment building for $1.18 million

GFI Realty Services Inc., has completed the sale of 336 East 117th St., in the East Harlem section, for $1.18 million, which translates to ten times the rent roll and $118,000 price per unit. The five-story walk-up apartment building consists of 10 units totaling 8,125 s/f. Kobi Zamir, an associate of GFI, represented the seller, a local investor. Zamir along with Roni Abudi, a managing partner also at GFI, represented the buyer, a local investor. "The seller is looking to invest outside of the NYC metro area," said Zamir. "However he had no difficulty attracting a buyer who recognizes the value of this property as well as the surrounding area." "The buyer is excited about acquiring a property in East Harlem and will capitalize on the potential upside as the area continues to improve," said Abudi. This multifamily apartment building was built in the early 1900s and is located in close proximity the FDR Dr. and Central Park North.
