Long Island
Zere Real Estate Services has sold a 23 acre parcel on the south shore of Long Island. The site will be the future development subdivision for Bayport Meadows, a 148 townhouse/condo residential community for 55 and over.
Marie Zere , president and CEO of Zere Real Estate said, "The property was rezoned from industrial land to residential. It was an easy decision for the Islip town planners since the parcel across the street was already residential with minimal impact on the quality of life in the community. There was no opposition to this kind of beautiful development."
Kevin Welsh of Zere Real Estate, who represented the property exclusively for the owners said, "The residents were in favor of this first class residential development due to the developer looking to improve the infrastructure in the community and along Church Street with sidewalks and lighting."
The buyer of the parcel was The Northwind Group represented by Lee Rosner of Tsunis Rosner &Associates
The seller of the property, The Lowes Corp. in conjunction with Dartco Company was exclusively represented by Zere Real Estate.
