According to James Famularo of NYCRS, the firm has arranged the $2.42 million sale of 156-158 East 33rd St. The mixed-use building, in the city's Murray Hill neighborhood, contains three retail units and three residential units. "Our deep knowledge of the Murray Hill market allowed us to substantiate a valuation much higher than the buyer's expectations, which made this deal much more desirable for our client," said director Famularo. NYCRS leased 2,000 s/f of retail/restaurant space at 189 East 3rd St., the former Le Caire Lounge. The tenant was Casa Blanca and is the group's second restaurant. The tenant was exclusively represented by Ravi Idnani of NYCRS. The landlord was Corigin Manhattan Apartment and was represented by Famularo of NYCRS. The lease was a ten-year deal.
