With an active construction season just beginning, TVGA Consultants (TVGA) has been awarded construction inspection contracts for two large roadway projects, for which they provided design services. The Millennium Parkway project is a locally administered federal aid project that is intended to provide more direct access for truck traffic from I-90 Interchange 59 and NY Route 60 to an existing industrial corridor that extends from the City of Dunkirk into the Towns of Dunkirk and Sheridan, New York. The project is being administered by Chautauqua County and is scheduled to be completed in the Fall of 2014. Additionally, TVGA will be providing inspection services for the Fruitbelt Redevelopment of Carlton Street for the City of Buffalo DPW. This project involves rehabilitation of Carlton Street between Michigan Avenue and Jefferson Avenue in the City of Buffalo. Improvements will be made to the pavement, curbs, and sidewalks throughout the summer.
