The leasing team of Faith Hope Consolo, chairman, and Joseph Aquino, executive VP, along with Arthur Maglio of Douglas Elliman's Retail Group is bringing one of the city's most progressive children's medical facilities to Harlem by arranging the area's first 2,500 s/f Tribeca Pediatrics at 2111 Frederick Douglass Boulevard, at the corner of West 114th St.
"Just as Starbucks is a marker for an emerging neighborhood, a sophisticated pediatric clinic is a sign it has arrived," said Consolo. "This now coveted corner is transitioning from a 99 cents store to a cutting-edge medical facility for children."
Consolo, Aquino and Maglio represented both landlord, Tahl-Propp Equities, and the tenant in the transaction.
Maglio said, "Tribeca Pediatrics has a very large following and will be a welcome addition to the neighborhood and its families. The services we have been bringing here are an integral part of the area's overall revitalization."
In addition to the current lease, the Douglas Elliman Retail Group team has been responsible for bringing many shops, services and community-based organizations to Harlem in recent years, including the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Internal Revenue Service, Children's Aid Society, Ralph Lauren Center for Cancer Care and Prevention, Friends of the Children, AIDS Services Center NYC and Sunshine Day Care.
