Rockland Economic Development Corporation's Procurement Technical Assistance Center (REDC's PTAC) encourages businesses to attend its FREE Program on Thursday, May 9, 2013-How to Do Business with the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA). Liz Kallen, PTAC Program Manager, will present "How to Obtain a GSA Schedule Contract." The GSA Schedules Program is the preferred method of procurement for the federal government. Being on the GSA Schedule will increase a businesses' marketability. Attendees will learn about: The GSA Schedules Program, how to access the solicitation package, the most important sections of the solicitation package, and more. Also included: An 18-Point readiness assessment, insider tips, and three attributes all companies must have to get a GSA Schedule contract.
