Clarkson, a new dining destination from restauranteur Georges Forgeois, has opened at Trinity Real Estate's 225 Varick Street Forgeois, whose restaurant group includes Café Noir, Cercle Rouge, Jules, Le Singe Vert and Bar Tabac, signed a 15-year lease for the 3,700 s/f of ground floor space at the corner of Clarkson and Varick Streets.
"Hudson Square has become a hub for creative collar tenants, entrepreneurs and fashion brands and so the addition of a high-quality dining option for their employees is invaluable," said Jason Pizer, president of Trinity Real Estate. "We are delighted to welcome Clarkson to our community."
Clarkson will feature a seasonal menu of shared plates from executive chef Rebecca Weitzman.
Trinity Real Estate was represented in house by Tom Lynch and Peter Fontanetta while The Forgeois Group was represented by Richard Murdock of Spivey Realty Group Inc. and Perry Rothenberg of JDF Realty, Inc.
