Our friend and colleague Alan Hendrickson died suddenly on February 16.
Hendrickson was not only an outstanding real estate broker but an advocate to our industry.
He had a long career in banking before joining Coldwell Banker Commercial NRT in 2002. He later opened his own brokerage firm Corporate Commercial Realty, LLC with his partner Harvey Kolin. Hendrickson took care of his clients and customers, going the "extra mile," to service them through and after the transaction. Any agent he ever came in contact with could call him for advice; and many did. He was the go to person if you needed help.
When Hendrickson started his real estate career he immediately became active in real estate organizations. Not only joining them, but volunteering for committees, really doing some of the work; he was recognized for his participation by being asked to serve in officer positions. Hendrickson was past president of the Long Island Commercial Network (LICN), LIBOR's commercial division. He was currently president of the Metro Chapter of the New York State Commercial Association of Realtors. Hendrickson also had served as a governor and was currently secretary of the New York State Commercial Association of Realtors (NYSCAR). Hendrickson received many awards including LICN and NYSCAR Realtor of the Year awards.
Our industry has lost a friend who was a model professional commercial broker.
