Mogull of Mogull Realty concludes 9,000 s/f lease

Kim Mogull, Mogull Realty's founder & CEO, has concluded a 9,000 s/f STK restaurant lease at 1250 Connecticut Ave., NW, where the female-friendly steak and fish restaurant and lounge is scheduled to open in the second quarter of this year. The ONE Group, the parent company of STK, is exclusively represented by Mogull Realty. Along with STK, additional ONE Group brands include Asellina, Heraea, ONE and STKout. Mogull has secured 50,000 s/f of restaurant spaces on The ONE Group's behalf in high profile markets such as New York City, Las Vegas, Miami and now Washington D.C. Today Ms. Mogull is seeking locations for The One Group's newest concept, Heraea - a female friendly sports-oriented STK-type concept. "I am often asked how come we get such great real estate and do such good deals?" said Jonathan Segal, CEO, The One Group. "The answer is always the same: Kim Mogull." The 210,000 s/f office DC building was represented in-house by Daniel Purrington and Ed Hogan of Brookfield Office Properties. The property is prominently positioned on the amenity-rich core of Connecticut Avenue and includes a large underground parking garage. Conveniently situated in the Central Business District's Golden Triangle BID, it is just one block south of Dupont Circle. This is not the first time STK is opening in a Brookfield property. Ms. Mogull previously worked with Ed Hogan, Brookfield's national director of retail leasing, to bring STK and STKout to Midtown Manhattan's world-renowned Grace Building opposite Bryant Park. STK opened in 2011 where it continues to be one of city's most coveted dining reservations with both indoor and outdoor seating. STK blends a modern steakhouse with a chic lounge, heralding the tagline, "Not Your Daddy's Steakhouse." STK targets the female audience with its décor, vibe and menu by featuring sleek architecture and a variety of dining options. While steak is the main attraction, STK also serves up fresh seafood, salads and healthy sides for sharing.
