Cooney of RMF works with American Legion Post 694 to assist families

January 14, 2013 - Long Island
For the second consecutive year, Ruskin Moscou Faltischek (RMF) and its staff participated in a unique program jointly conducted with Northport American Legion Post 694, in support of the families and the children of veterans during the holiday season. John Cooney, a United States Marine Corps veteran and an attorney at the firm, coordinates the program at RMF. During the holiday season, Cooney worked in conjunction with the Northport American Legion to identify and assist families of recently returning veterans that are experiencing financial difficulties. As a result of these efforts, program participants provided some holiday cheer to these deserving families. Mark Mulholland, managing partner and a United States Army veteran, said, "We are pleased to be able to help our local veterans and their families. We believe our role as good corporate citizens can take many forms. This is just one small way we are able to give back meaningfully to the community in which we live and work."
