Drew O'Malley has joined Colliers International as an executive managing director.
O'Malley also has experience representing financial institutions and working with structured finance and joint venture developments. Most recently he was the managing director of Bluestone Group, where he arranged more than $700 million in transactions.
Prior to Bluestone, O'Malley held senior executive positions with TrammellCrow Co., DLJ Real Estate, CSFB Realty Corp. and the Edward S. Gordon Co.
Among his career highlights, O'Malley opened TrammellCrow's local office, which he grew to more than 45 real estate professionals prior to its acquisition by CB Richard Ellis. Further, he sublet DLJ's entire 1 million s/f corporate headquarters at 277 Park Ave., relocating the firm to 1.5 million s/f at 1 Madison Ave. and 11 Madison Ave.

O'Malley has represented a host of prominent agency assignment throughout his career, including Bankers Trust Company, AXA, Credit Suisse First Boston, Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, Metropolitan Life Insurance Co., Haymes Investment Co., CAP Gemini US, and The Durst Organization. Additionally, he has advised corporate and government clients on issues such as lease negotiation, renegotiation, joint ventures, structuring synthetic leases as well as assisting in build to suit strategies and carried equity leases.
